We are pleased to confirm that on Monday 28 March our waiting rooms at both Pencoed and Llanharan Medical Centres will be reopening.
You, our patients, have been so incredibly patient as we’ve walked through this pandemic together, and we are very grateful for your ongoing support.
As we reopen our doors, please can we ask for your ongoing support in a number of areas:
All patients must continue to wear a mask inside the surgery. It is frequently the most frail and vulnerable who need to come to the surgery, and we want to make the environment as safe as we can for them. If you are unable to wear a mask, we would politely ask you to remain outside until you are called for your appointment. This includes children.
One patient per appointment. This is to help us limit the number of people within the building as much as possible.
Request a telephone call rather than a face-to-face appointment. Many things can be dealt with over the phone rather than having to come to surgery. We will continue to offer a variety of appointment types.
Trust us to help find you the healthcare solution that best meets your needs. Sometimes it’s not always a GP you need to see. For example, if it’s a query about medication, our practice pharmacist will be able to help. For joint or muscle pain, or physiotherapy team are on hand to assist. Help us to help you so that you get the best care.
Why not go digital? You can contact the surgery through our app (click for Apple or Android), as well as find a wealth of information about the surgery and other local services. You can also request medication online via MyHealthOnline.
Although restrictions are easing, the move back to normality will feel strange for us all. Let’s work together to keep each other safe.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
* If you need to download a form to register for MyHealthOnline, you can do this through SurgeryApp too.
