The practice is deeply saddened to inform you of the recent death of Dr Delyth Ware, one of our ex-GP partners, at the age 71.
Dr Ware joined the practice in 1981 and was also a trainer, where she even trained three of the existing GP partners.
Dr Ware retired 11 years ago, having given 32 years of dedication to Pencoed Medical Centre. Her caring nature shone throughout her career and was loved and respected by both colleagues and staff. She will always be remembered by the kind, considerate and polite manner in which she always conducted herself and it was a privilege to work alongside her.
Having served the community for such a long time, we know many of her patients will have wanted to be informed about this.
We are thinking of her husband John and three boys Stephen, David and Jonathan. We send our deepest condolences to them all and the rest of the family at this very difficult time.
